Anxiety and Depression

Normally these conditions are somewhat integrated. They both can be very crippling conditions for which treatment can be very effective. I have had extensive experience of treating these conditions effectively with medication and psychological treatments which normally can go hand in hand when it comes to clinical effectiveness.  The normal approach being that once you have some control back via medication then having the correct psychological input can help you to understand the mechanisms that have caused this. Unfortunately patients at times can sometimes be ineffectively treated due to health professionals not fully understanding differences between the antidepressants and anti-anxiety medications. It is important that medication and psychological treatment is tailored to the individual so that patients can then have the best chance of being able to improve their life again.
